China is currently unlocking the potential of green hydrogen (produced by water electrolysis using renewable electricity). As the country has embarked on the road towards carbon neutrality by 2060, green hydrogen with lowest carbon intensity, will have critical roles to play to decarbonize the economy and create new business opportunities across the value chain.
It’s estimated that green hydrogen could be economically feasible before 2035. Electrolyzer manufacturers, in this case, are trying to capture the burgeoning market. Yet they must address some economic and technical barriers first to fully commercialize the business. This article will discuss how to deal with these issues and realize green hydrogen potential from their perspective.
